– Crafted for Generations

Our Legacy series of pendulum wall clocks offers a mesmerizing all wooden-geared mechanical movement to pull you in and watch the rhythmic beat of the escapement. It highlights the natural beauty of the hardwoods and emphasizes the mechanical movement of the clockworks.

Our Legacy clocks have been crafted with an open framed skeleton style architecture. It’s an intentionally minimalist design to highlight the clockwork mechanism. With a smooth geometric harmony focusing the eye on the precise rhythmic movements of the wooden escapement. It features 5 large gears in the mechanism of up to ~6” in diameter. The skeleton design invites the eye to wander around and explore the clockwork mechanism as it beats a steady rhythm of time. The silky-smooth texture of the wood invites a touch to feel the chronographic beating of the escapement mechanism. We offer a Legacy 1 clock with 32hr and a Legacy 2 series with 75 hour run times.

The clockwork is started by hand-winding a ratcheting mechanism that raises the polished brass weight. The raised weight provides the clockwork with a reserve of energy to power the motion as it slowly descends through a cycle. The Legacy series offers an eye-catching ~6” diameter escapement wheel. Ticking the passage of time with sound and movement. It is a choreographed ballet; the pendulum swing, the rocking of the pallets and the escape wheel start-stop motion.

The Legacy is both a kinetic artwork and timeless clockwork to be enjoyed and shared with family, friends and loved ones, passed down as a treasured heirloom. It is a perfect gift to both celebrate and commemorate weddings, anniversaries and special occasions. It offers a unique kinetic clockwork for collectors. Each clockwork is hand crafted and extensively tested for reliability and accuracy.
